How do blind spots impact long-term success?

What are the blind spots within your own organization—and more importantly, how do you know when you have them? While experience and focus are valuable leadership traits, they can become detrimental to our long-term success. As leaders, we thrive on reaching our goals and moving forward to the next challenge. If we find ourselves repeatedly measuring success by accomplishing the same goals, shouldn't we consider redesigning the system rather than solving the same problems?

Improving your organization's climate and culture doesn't always require costly investments in surveys, training sessions, or trendy morale-boosting initiatives. Instead, there are two free—and potentially more impactful—steps you can take.

The first is simply expressing gratitude to those around you. While this may seem like a small gesture, think about how meaningful it feels when someone thanks you for your daily efforts.

Public recognition is another powerful tool. Even simple awards and acknowledgment of team members' outstanding work and positive attitudes can transform the workplace atmosphere
