Attitude matters! As a leader, your words and actions significantly influence those around you and can impact how others perform their daily tasks. A previous Gallup study found that over 70% of employees within organizations are not fully engaged at work. The key to success lies in people. Regardless of available technology or analytics, nothing can replace the power of people.

To improve and grow as a leader, you must intentionally connect with everyone throughout your organization. This engagement does not come through monthly meetings or detailed spreadsheets, but through maintaining a positive attitude, genuinely interacting with those around you, and making everyone feel valued. While this task may be challenging, its impact will be significant.

A great starting point is simply asking your team members about their true passions and why they do what they do every day.

Action Step

Don't buy into negative attitudes; instead, take time to help others see the power of positivity.

Two Tips
